How is a boot supposed to fit?
We like to say that a good pair of boots should fit like a good pair of gloves, snug but not too tight. A boot should be fitted across your instep (the arched part of the top of your foot), while having roughly one quarter of an inch slippage in your heel, and of course, like any other shoe, you don’t want your toes to be squished in the toe box. Keep in mind that leather will give as you wear it.


What are the different boot widths?
While shopping for boots you may find the following letters after a size; B, D, M, C, EE, W, EW. These letters represent the width of a boot. B is a women’s regular width while C is a women’s wide width. D or M represent a men’s regular width while EE, EW, or W represent a men’s wide width. On occasion, you may even find EEE or EEEE. These represent men’s extra wide and extra extra wide width.


How should a hat fit?
You typically can measure the circumference of your head to calculate your hat size; please refer to this chart.

What do the belt sizes mean?
To figure out what belt size you are, simply add two to your pant/waist size.
For example, if you are a size 34 pant, we would recommend a size 36 belt.


Do boots run true to size?
It does depend on the company, but they tend to be close to your regular size. If you are local, we recommend you come in and try them on in store. If not, we would be happy to exchange the boots for you if they do not fit, please refer to our return and exchange policy for more details. If you have bought a pair of boots from us and they fit, we would love for you to write a review so others can more easily find their size.


Will my boots have a break in period?
More than likely, yes. The length of the break in period will vary from boot to boot. Some will be broken in with just a wear or two while others may take a bit longer. Some may not need a break in period at all but it is normal to have to break in your boots.


Do you offer first responder/military discounts?
YES! We are so glad you asked. Thank you for your service! Please send us an email with confirmation of your service (ID, badge, etc.) and we will be happy to send you a one time discount code to be used at checkout.


What is your shipping process? 

We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible. Please allow for a 1-2 day processing window for all orders, although many are able to be processed sooner! Any orders placed after 5pm, will be processed the following business day (our business days are Monday-Friday, with the exception of holidays.) Any orders placed after 5 pm on Friday and over the weekend, will be processed the following business day (typically, this would be first thing Monday morning). We are a small business and appreciate your patience with us as we work to get your orders out in a timely manner.

I think my boots may be defective, what do I need to do?
If you believe your boot to have a manufacture defect, please get in contact with us at support@countryconnectionstore.com or 779-0000. If we can in fact deem the boot to be defective, we will do our best to work with you and get them replaced. This process is a case by case basis and we will need the defective pair to return to the company.


Can I return an item that I didn’t buy from you, but that I see on your website?
